Beaumont Hotel

Wonderful place to stay in Hexham. The hotel is cozy and comfortable with excellent staff. They were helpful with check in, set up in our room and at the multiple meals we had there. It seems a place locals enjoy as well because it's such a welcoming place. It's well situated in Hexham, across from the park and the Abby and in the main commercial area. We could walk to everything. We'll be back.

A wonderful hotel, staffed by lovely people and serving great food. In the style of a restaurant with rooms, the food is excellent whether breakfast or a more elaborate evening meal. And the rooms are beautifully done out and those not facing the road are quiet. A great place to stay.

Exceptionally good, our room was well equipped and laid out warm and comfortable. All the staff, food and restaurant was brilliant. Good location with plenty to explore in the area. EV charging is available and we were able to reserve a spot with a charger in the private carpark so on departure we were all set for the day.

Lovely friendly restaurant and bar. Very helpful and gracious staff. Delicious lunch menu with excellent vegan options. The perfect spot for a relaxing lunch. Great location.

Fabulous place. Went for a long weekend there. Fabulous, nicely finished and spacious room, very quiet upstairs and large comfy bed. Hotel was always busy downstairs with a good atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful. Had 2 breakfasts there, and despite the portions being sensible, the quality was lovely and you could just go back for more if wanted. Hexham itself has a lot of history in a small area, and the surrounding villages were very pretty. Definitely going back, the 4 hour drive up north is well worth it.

Last evening The Beaumont Hotel hosted our table of 12 as we celebrated our small business milestone, retirements and long service. The staff were ace! A big shoutout to Hannah who looked after our table so expertly! Hid our flowers until presentations, thoughtful truffles celebrating those who retired and a celebratory drink of choice in the house! We’re so fortunate to have an establishment like The Beaumont, Hexham on our doorsteps! Thank you!! P.S - photo of smoked eel starter - highly recommend! P.P.S - we didn’t stay so cannot comment on the rooms though I’m sure it would be great.

We were very lucky to get a table today as it was extremely busy. We walked in to be greeted by a young lady named Amelia, she was absolutely fantastic. She was professional and efficient, made us feel very comfortable. I now know why Beaumont was very busy… it had it all, the staff, the atmosphere and 100% the food. My mum had the artichoke and black pepper soup and i had the mushroom risotto and the flavours were amazing. Followed by sticky toffee pudding. And as always, no matter where I go, the coffee matters and yes you guessed it.. An excellent cup indeed. We will definitely go back again if in the area.

Myself and husband stayed at this fabulous hotel last night in a superior room with breakfast, which was all exception. We were greeted by Daniel who was so helpful throughout our stay. The room was stunning with views of the park opposite with all the daffodils out. We had drinks in the cosy lounge area when we arrived and the bar staff were so lovely and brought our drinks to the table. They have a fabulous menu for Hexham restaurant week so well worth looking and booking in restaurant. Breakfast here is stunning. My husband had the full English and myself the oak smkd trout with scrambled egg and lemon creme fraishe both cooked fresh to order but u can also help yourself to the vast selection at the continental buffet. This was the best breakfast we.ve had in a hotel and it was included in the price. There is also a small carpark under the hotel but if no spaces the hotel will help u with free onstreet parking. Would highly recommend this hotel. Many thanks to Amy who dealt amazingly with our booking but also to Florin and Roger who looked after us throughout.
